The video stays in the building.

An edge device at each site reads its cameras locally and turns what they see into readings. Only the readings leave the building, plus the stills and clips you ask for. Three models, sized by how many video streams a site has.

What it does

From a camera stream to a reading, inside the building.

  1. Reads each streamEvery camera on site, continuously, on the device itself.
  2. Detects and timesPeople, cars, trucks, trailers, items and pans, only inside the zones you drew.
  3. Writes readingsCounts, waits, fill levels, arrivals and departures, sent as structured data every few seconds.
  4. Keeps evidence localRecent video stays on the device, so you can request the still or clip behind any number.
Security

The device makes only outbound connections.

The device connects out to VideoBI over an encrypted connection and asks for work: a snapshot, a clip, a live view someone requested. No inbound ports, no VPN, no video streaming to the cloud.

  • Readings and requested stills only
  • People can be blurred on the device before upload
  • Health and camera coverage reported every minute
